Bea
Das studied at Wadhurst Ladies College, Kent Institute
of Art and Design were she majored in Textiles, and
West Surrey College of Art and Design, where she gained
a BA Hons. in Textiles and Fashion, majoring in woven
and printed textiles.
Bea
works from her charming Atelier salon in Sevenoaks in
Kent, set amidst the historic treasures of nearby Knole
House and Hever Castle. Her hallmark is her passion
for perfection at every stage- from the initial consultation,
design, cutting, fitting and through to finishing.
Inexhaustible sumptuous creative
vision
Her
stunning designs are increasingly in demand, reflecting
her own captivating blend of contemporary and vintage
chic.
Her creative visions are deeply intuitive, inspired
by opulent, Renaissance Europe,
Britain under the Tudor Monarchs and spice of ancient
Egypt often richly decorated
with her exquisite hand -embroidery.
Her dedication and expertise extend to creating her
own hand-made tiaras, shoes and embroidered silk veils.
Having
only moved into Bridal Wear in the late 90's Bea already
has an enviable list of accreditations including :

Harrods the most famous of all English Stores, launched
her collection in the UK,

Wedgewood was so impressed by her dress 'Amadeus',
that they have preserved it in porcelain forever,

Even Hollywood commissioned Bea to create a costume
for Christopher Walken, in its 18th Century movie
'Sleepy Hollow,'

In 2001 Bea was awarded the coveted 'New Designer
of the Year' in the British Bridal Awards.
In
such a short time her UK based Atelier has gained International
recognition and has been enthusiastically embraced by
the fashion elite and press as one of the most creative
Bridal Gown Designers.
